Made some pizza today. If it doesn't take so long to make, I would make it way more often.
The top pie has sugar in the crust and the bottom pie is sans sugar. I actually prefer the crust without the sugar. Still, both were so good. Washed it down with a Blue Moon First Peach Ale
Have a Ford Falcon XR8 for your time. And this is what the Fusion needs to become

Cup of warm water (110- 120 degrees)
1 packet of dry active yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp Sugar (Optional)
1/4 cup olive oil
2 to 3 cups flower (start with 2 cups and add about 1/4 cup until the dough pulls away from the mixing bowl)
I also like to add:
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of Italian seasoning (Oregano, Thyme, Basil etc. Can be found premixed)
splash of red wine vinegar
Mix water, yeast, salt, [sugar (optional)]
add olive oil
Add seasonings, and splash of red wine vinegar (optional)
then add the 2 cups of flour and check consistency. add additional flour (1/4ish at a time) as necessary.
Place dough ball in lightly oiled bowl to let rise for about an hr. (punch down and let rise another 30min to 1hr for a thicker dough)
Once risen, place dough onto pizza pan top with whatever you fancy.
With my oven, I do 400 degrees on the middle rack for about 16-18 min. for a nicely browned crust and browned cheese. (cooking time and temp will vary by oven.).
Makes 1 16" pizza
I plan to experiment next with a pizza stone. Gotta find a good one first.
